Steph Richards and Andrew Munsey join forces to co-lead a new project with the talents of creative musicians Joshua White (piano), Brian Walsh (bass clarinet) and Dave Tranchina (bass). With a decade of experience creating music together, these musicians will explore compositions by Richards and Munsey that thrive at the praxis of improvisation and structure.

Hailed as "spellbinding" (NPR) and “one of the leading trumpet players and improvisors” (Free Jazz Collective), Steph Richards has built a compelling presence in the creative music scene, having worked alongside pioneering creative musicians Anthony Braxton, Henry Threadgill and John Zorn and performance artists Yoko Ono and Laurie Anderson. As a composer, her works have premiered at Carnegie Hall, the Blue Note and Lincoln Center. Her recently released debut album *FULLMOON,* acclaimed by the New York Times as "a bold pronouncement" is out on Relative Pitch Records. Richards is a Yamaha Performing Artist and is on faculty at UC San Diego.

Andrew B. Munsey is drummer, composer, and recording engineer who has performed and premiered works at Lincoln Center, the Walt Disney Concert Hall, and Symphony Space, while his work as an engineer and editor can beheard on recordings from the Bridge, New World, Hathut, Innova, No Business and NNA Tapes recording labels.  His work as a sound designer, mixing engineer, and composer has been exhibited and screened at the Guggenheim Museum, Centre Pompidou (FR), Fridericianum (DE), Van Gogh Museum (NL), Anthology Film Archives, and the Library of Congress with festivals including the International Film Festival Rotterdam, the Sundance and Toronto Film Festivals.
