Originally dubbed the Crew D’Etat Brass Band, Chunky Hustle Brass Band began as a group of musical citizens wanting to support the equality march and women’s march. They started to gather at Mission Bay during late afternoons through sunsets and under full moons creating a palette of New Orleans street funk and R&B.
